To make updates, you’ll need to file an application with the FCC, and for operator/primary station licenses, this must be done electronically using the Universal Licensing System (ULS). If you have a club or military recreation station license, you must file through a Club Station Call Sign Administrator.

To update your license with the FCC using the ULS, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the ULS website and select “Online Filing.”
  2. Login using your FCC Registration Number (FRN) and password
  3. Choose “Update” from the “Work on This License” menu on the right-hand side of your “License At A Glance” screen.
  4. Answer the questions on the “Applicant Questions” page and click “Continue.” Update your licensee address and any other relevant information on the “Licensee” page. Click “Continue” when ready.
  5. Review the information you entered on the “Summary” page. If you need to make additional changes, click the “Edit” button next to the section you want to edit.
  6. When you’re ready to submit, click the “Continue to Certify” button.
  7. Enter your first and last names and title (if appropriate) in the boxes at the bottom of the page. You must sign the application.
  8. Click the “Submit Application” button.

We recommend printing a copy of your application and/or the confirmation screen from your web browser.

Note that the address and contact information you entered in CORES registration will not be automatically associated with your licenses. To update your license information, you must do so on the ULS website.

If you have any questions or need help with the application process, you can click on the “Common Questions” or “Help” links provided on most pages of the ULS License Manager.
